RECRUITMENT PLAN DEVELOPMENT
ATHLETE SCOUTING REPORT
The S.T.A.R Development team will gather data and assess game video/highlight tapes to comprise an UNBIASED comprehensive scouting report. To provide college programs and athletes with the best opportunity to make a recruitment match, the report will rate the skill and competition level of each student-athlete.
RECRUITMENT PROFILE DEVELOPMENT
The S.T.A.R Development team will create an online athlete recruitment profile. The profile will be a comprehensive outline of the athlete’s scholastic and basketball history. Coupled with a game video, the recruitment profile will provide college coaches with vital information needed to make recruiting decisions. An Athlete Recruitment Profile consists of the student-athlete’s photo, basic player information (year, position, name, height, weight and school), scholastic achievements, contact information and scouting report.
HIGHLIGHT VIDEO/MIXTAPE DISTRUBUTION
The S.T.A.R Development team will attach the game or highlight video links, provided by the athlete, to the recruitment profile and post them on our multiple social media platforms for the various coaching networks to view. More importantly, the team will personally send the recruitment profile to the schools identified within the student-athletes’ individual recruitment plan.
Note: Videos that have background music with profane, degrading or insensitive lyrics WILL NOT be attached to student-athlete recruitment profiles or distributed by S.T.A.R Development.
COLLEGE RECRUITER CONTACTS
Utilizing an extensive coaching network, the S.T.A.R Development team will connect the athletes with college coaches that have identified them as a prospect for a potential recruitment. We will provide the consulting and relationship building services, as needed, to entice the scholarship offer for the student-athlete.
HBCU/SMALL COLLEGE SPRING PROSPECT RECRUITMENT SHOWCASE
To facilitate the recruiting process, S.T.A.R Development will host an HBCU/Small College Spring Prospect Recruitment Showcase. As the basketball recruitment season ramps up, college scouts have identified their specific needs to be filled and are working hard to find prospects. This event will be the one time that numerous HBCU and small mainstream programs can come to Chicago and view its immense talent base of young student-athlete’s.

Conducted by our professional basketball development training partner, the workout session provides you with the drills and techniques to raise your game. All skills development plans are tailored to the specific strengths and weaknesses necessary to help you achieve your goals.

S.T.A.R Development fitness training partners provides young student-athletes the opportunity to get trained by the most professional and highly regarded physical training services in the industry. These services offer the ability for athletes to transform their bodies, recuperate from injury, and/or receive a sport specific training program.
